Here at our office, all of our x-rays are computerized.
We use digital x-rays for many reasons that benefit our patients. First, by having digital pictures, we can instantly send your x-rays to another office. Another benefit is that we can show the patient their x-rays on a screen for patient education along with an explanation of procedures that may be needed. When a digital pictures is taken and compared to a printed x-ray, the digital image is better quality. Also, digital x-rays are healthier for the body becasue they require a lower radiation dosage than the printed x-rays do.
